ABOUT WSJP

WSJP serves as St. Joseph’s Prep’s official student broadcasting club, where storytelling comes alive through live broadcasts, compelling interviews, and original podcast series. Our state-of-the-art McHugh Media Studio, located on the first floor of the Howley Learning Commons, features professional-grade audio and video equipment, giving students the tools they need to produce high-quality content. WSJP broadcasts live-streams of varsity sporting contests on YouTube. The club is run by students – with a dedicated team of executives, including underclassmen and upperclassmen, we do our best to broadcast as many events as we can.

02

WHAT SEPARATES WSJP?

WSJP’s commitment to broadcasting as many sporting events as possible is unparalleled across the Delaware Valley. We have become the standard for student-media clubs in the area, to the point that other schools have reached out to ask for our guidance in starting their own student broadcasting clubs. Clicks, interaction, likes, and views do not do our work justice – we aim to produce the highest quality broadcast every time we travel to a sporting event.

03

LISTENER REACH

WSJP has amassed over two thousand subscribers on YouTube and two thousand followers on Instagram, confirming the work that we do is a vital piece of keeping members of the Prep community connected with our students. Some of our best broadcasts include PCL semi-final and championship basketball games from The Palestra, football games versus nationally ranking opponents, and more.
